About Us

I wanted to include a little bit about us and how the Sweepstakes Tracker came to be:

My name is Dana and my husband's name is Parry and we are sweepers like you. About 2 years ago, I was pregnant and placed on bed rest. At the time, I belonged to a refunding forum and someone was posting about winning sweepstakes. I looked into it and started entering sweepstakes. I have been hooked ever since. My first win was an XBox game from a Burger King sweep and I was completely floored because people actually do win (and we didn't own an Xbox).

Some of our other wins in 18 months:

  1. 3 Trips (Tampa, FL; Poconos, PA; Key West, FL)
  2. 7 iPods (2 Video; 2 Shuffles; 3 Nanos)
  3. Gift Cards (Visa, Discover, MC, Target, Rite Aid, Best Buy & many more)
  4. Bose Docking Station for the iPods
  5. Razr Phone
  6. Private concert with Clay Walker
  7. Over 300 iTune downloads
  8. Dell Laser Printer
  9. $1500 in camping equipment
  10. Theater Tickets
  11. Movie Tickets
  12. Concert Tickets
  13. Kids Toys
  14. 1 year worth of diapers
  15. Honorary Bat Kid for the Orioles (for our daughter)
  16. 25,000 United Mileage Plus Miles
  17. Disney Lithograph
  18. Hot Air Balloon ride
  19. and many other wonderful items.

Once I started getting more and more involved in sweepstakes, I became more and more disorganized. Onlines, instants, mail-ins, 3 newsletters, 4 online forums - It was too much to keep track of. I used 9 or 10 different folders to save the onlines and instants in My Favorites and I wouldn't remember to check and enter them regularly. So, I went out and searched the web for something to help me get organized. There was NOTHING! I was left with folders and Excel spreadsheets. I really wanted something to help me organize the day to day entering.

One day I was complaining to my husband about my disorganization and how I really needed a program to help me. Parry is a software engineer and said, 'Write up what you want and I will design you a program'.... and the idea for Sweepstakes Tracker was born. With the help of the local club (the Metrosweepers), the requirements for the program were developed. After many, many months of prototypes and development, the one stop shopping for all your daily sweepstaking activities is here (well, very soon).

We are very excited about this software because it has unlimited potential to help you organize the way YOU enter sweeps. We are hoping that you find this tool to be something that not only helps you organize and win, but also frees up some time for other things in life (or maybe more entering).
